About EXTRA Thyme
Kim is the founder and now General Manager for Extra Thyme Catering graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and worked as a designer for a few years. She decided that she missed the food business and after working for a local corporate caterer, jumped from the frying pan into the entrepreneurial fire by purchasing an existing catering company in Chesterfield called Gourmet Etc. After four years as Gourmet Etc., Kim decided to change the business model to focus on corporate drop-off catering and corporate foodservice management...and Extra Thyme,LLC was born!

All these years later Extra Thyme is still going strong, and was purchased by Elite Cuisine in 2015 so that both companies could benefit from their union.

Kim has worked diligently to lessen our environmental impact. Extra Thyme achieved Green Dining 4-Star certification through St. Louis Earth Day's Green Dining Alliance. Today Kim enjoys the role as General Manager making sustainability and environmental education a package deal along with great customer service and delicious food.
